We invite you to display a Christmas tree in St Andrew's Church for the weekend of Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 of December. The church will be open during the day on Saturday 10 for the viewing of the trees.
St Andrew’s Church is inviting organisations, groups, businesses or individuals to display a Christmas tree in our first Christmas Tree Festival. If you, either as an organisation or individual, would like to display a tree the
following information is given to help you;
You may use a real or artificial tree – preferably between 4'-6’/1.5-2 metres in height (we can accommodate smaller or bigger trees) and decorate it in any way you choose (you may wish to advertise your organisation to the local community by using decorations appropriate to your organisation).
An electricity supply will be provided for each tree, but we ask that flashing and musical lights are not used (or set on silent /static), as these may be distressing for some visitors)
Trees may be bought in and decorated on Friday 9th December after 1pm – in the afternoon and early evening. And trees can be brought in and decorated earlier during the week, by prior arrangement with Kate Shoard, our Church Administrator.
Trees may be removed on Monday 12 during the daytime or evening, or at other times during Tuesday or Wednesday by prior arrangement with Kate.
There are no prizes for decorating a tree – as all trees will be brilliant!
