Square Dancing is fun!

Circle and Swing Square Dance Club meets here on Thursdays from 8 to 10pm.

American Square Dancing uses music from golden oldies to current hits as well as Country and Western.  Learning the basic steps is easy, you walk in time to the music (no fancy footwork) and our Caller explains each move as you go so that you gradually build up a series of moves into dance patterns.

An evening's dancing is performed at a brisk walk in time to the music so, as well as being a fun, sociable evening, it will also help to keep you fit.  Square Dancing is very friendly, everyone joins in and no one has to wait to be asked.  All ages are welcome.

If you like barn dancing then you'll probably enjoy square dancing.  We are always looking for new dancers and we welcome beginners.  Why don't you pop in one Thursday evening to see what it's like - the first evening is free and tea, coffee and cold drinks are provided.
